Did you know that
spambots are constantly crawling web pages all over the Internet, harvesting email addresses?
Spambots are often used by people who send unsolicited bulk email (spam). Because we do not want our submitters to be concerned about receiving spam when they post something on the Internet, we have started using a method that hides the email addresses from spambots, but will still allow TCDeaf.com users to click on it to send an email.
For example, if John sends in an article and includes his email address at the bottom of the article, his email address will show as "john@..." and you will still be able to click on it to send John an email. At the same time, John's email address will be hidden from spambots so he does not receive a flood of spam because of posting his email address in that article.
