We meet the first and third Thursday of the month. Starting in September 2003 we meet every Thursday. We meet at Barnes and Noble Bookstore, in the Brookdale Shopping Center in Brooklyn Center (1353 Brookdale Center).
Time is from 7 PM to 8 PM. Many stay longer to chat. The coffee at Barnes and Noble is great too.
This is for beginners to experienced signers, anyone who loves ASL is welcome.
First meeting was held January 2003.
We have students of ASL, interprets, teachers, long time signers, parents of deaf children, children, people who love ASL, people who want to learn more about ASL deaf pilot, and people who want to keep their signing skills fresh.
