This block party, in memory of Officer Melissa Schimdt,
is at 1212 - 9th Street near Elliot Park,
on August 5th, 2003,
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This is an annual nationwide event to help cut crime by getting to know
your neighborhood. Sponsored by local neighborhoods and Minneapolis Police Department.
There will be some fun activities. Some refreshment will be provided.
Come and watch Ellie Kidder (Fidalgo) perform "Eagle" with her outfit
and headdress. She will be performing in ASL in honor of Officer Melissa Schimdt and
other officers above the earth and on earth.
It is locate close by Hennepin County Medical Center (about two blocks away)
and just across the street from Elliot Park. It is inside East Village Apartment area.
Go by Dunn Brother's coffee shop and through the gate toward playground and beyond.
