Aware Fair 2004

An educational, social event for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, and Hearing people!

Saturday, October 9, 2004
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Brookdale Center
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
Located at the intersection of Highways 100 & 152

Highlights of the day include:

  • Rickie Rowray, deaf balloon artist
  • Special appearances and performance by Elee Vang, Miss Deaf Minnesota
  • Children's Activity Area, coordinated by the Family Support Connection/LifeTrack Resources
  • Caricature drawings offered by Ellie Kidder, deaf artist (for a fee)
  • Entertainment for Children and Adults (see schedule posted day of event)
  • Signing Charlie Brown on display at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Brookdale Center

For the performances, Sign Language Interpreters and assistive listening devices will be provided.
