Though Deaf since 18 months of age, Sue has been able to overcome many obstacles in her life to eventually become the first Deaf FBI agent. A popular TV show (Sue Thomas F.B. Eye) was created based upon her life. Today as a professional public speaker she travels hundreds of thousands of miles to stand before hundreds of thousands of people. Her dynamic spirit cannot be contained in her silent world and reaches out to break the Sound Barrier with widely diversified audiences worldwide.
