Advanced Medical Classifiers and Pain

Workshop Description: This workshop focuses on the human anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on classifiers, as well as specialized terminology related to medical settings. Classifiers on some basic as well as complex diseases will be covered. Facial grammar and non-manual signals will be included with the emphasis on degrees of pain (different adjectives).
International Deaf Story Night

Workshop Description: This workshop focuses on Deaf communities around the world with their struggles and successes. Including how certain Deaf organizations and groups made some changes in their respective communities. Personal experiences from traveling around the world will be shared. Real life applications of Deafhood will be applied and presented.
ASL Classifiers

Workshop Description: This workshop focuses on the effective utilization and clear production of classifiers whilst signing in ASL. Included will be how to do the visualization appropriately rather than being dependent on the audio-logical aspect due to the influence of English Language (i.e. holding English forms). Additionally the utilization of placement and 3-D space will be explained and practiced. This workshop is heavily "hands on" activity.

Cancellation Policy - A complete refund will be issued if cancellation is received at least (2) two weeks prior to the start date of the workshop. Due to limitations on workshop size, cancellations made with less than two week's notice will not be refunded.
