Discovering Deaf Worlds and GoPhilanthropic have united to offer unique travel opportunities that combine culture, adventure, accessibility, and a way to contribute to international deaf communities. Hike through the jungles of Costa Rica, visit the Temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, or experience the floating markets and exotic temples in Thailand. At the same time, meet with deaf leaders, learn about the issues they face, and participate in local efforts working towards solutions.
Guids fluent in American Sign Language, as well as the local sign language (Thai, Khmer/Cambodian, and LESCO - Costa Rican Sign Language) will be provided. In addition, part of your tour cost has built in donations to the international deaf advocacy organizations you will connect with on these journeys.
