Title: Over the River and Through the Woods

Date: Sunday, October 2, 2:00 pm

Show description: Written by Joe DiPietro, author of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. When Nick announces he is going to leave New York and take a job in Seattle, his four Italian-American grandparents go to great lengths, including matchmaking, to keep their grandson from leaving. As they cook, conspire and cajole to get him to stay, Nick gets to know and love them even more in this heartwarming comedy -- you'll laugh your pasta off!

Title: Something's Afoot

Date: Sunday, November 20, 2:00 pm

Show description: In this musical spoof of Agatha Christie “who dunit?” murder mysteries, ten people stranded in an isolated English country estate during a raging thunderstorm are killed off one by one in mysterious (and hilarious) ways. As they try to discover the murderer’s identity, the situation is complicated by power failures and suspicious behaviors carefully noted by elderly amateur detective, Miss Tweed. Book, Music and Lyrics by James McDonald, David Vos and Robert Gerlach. Additional music by Ed Linderman.

Title: Babe, the Sheep Pig

Date: Sunday, December 18, 2:00 pm

Show description: Adapted for the stage by David Wood, based on the children's book by Dick King-Smith

A little orphaned piglet becomes the toast of the farmyard as he pursues his goal of being a champion sheepdog. The humorous and sometimes dangerous escapades of this gallant little fellow will delight the whole family, while encouraging all to pursue their dreams through kindness, gentility and courage. Oink!

The 1995 film-version was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture.

Show description: Lakeshore Players brings the greatest noir mystery romance of all time to life on stage.

No man could resist Laura’s charms—not even the hardboiled New York Police Detective sent to find out who turned her into a faceless corpse. Soon he comes to the realization that he’s been seduced by a dead woman—or has he? Based on the novel by Vera Caspary, Laura was nominated for an Academy Award in 1944.

Show description: Goofiness takes center stage in this side-splitting comedy!

In 1979 Willum Gilbert has it all: a promising career as an architect, devoted friends, even, maybe, a serious girlfriend. But then Rick Steadman, the ultimate social misfit, comes to visit and puts everything in peril. The Nerd escalates into a madcap farce as the “nerd” outstays his welcome and turns Willum’s life topsy-turvy.

Title: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Date: Sunday, May 20, 2:00 pm

Show description: Revived on Broadway in 2011, the common man triumphs in this feel-good musical as our hero, window washer J. Pierrepont Finch, rises up the corporate ladder by following a “how-to” book. Forced to rely on his own wits, he performs so admirably that he is promoted to Chairman of the Board. This Frank Loesser musical won seven Tony Awards and the 1962 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
