Deaf Financial Education Center
A national non-profit deaf organization providing free financial counseling on credit, housing, grants, and educational program course development.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division (DHHSD)
Provides assistance to deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing Minnesotans, as well as parents and family of those with a hearing loss. DHHS also oversees the Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program.

This service is designed to provide mental health services within the school setting to deaf, deaf blind, and hard of hearing children, adolescents, and their families

Volunteers of America-Minnesota-Mental Health Clinic-Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program using Telehealth
This service is designed to provide mental health services in Greater Minnesota to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deafblind children or adolescents and their families.

Volunteers of America-Minnesota-Mental Health Clinic-Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program – Family Focused Therapeutic Services Program
This service provides parenting education and support to D/HH parents who are at risk for maltreating their young (under school aged) children. Services include individualized home visits and coordination of community services to ensure basic family needs are met such as medical care, clothing, food, employment, childcare, parenting skills, support groups, and transportation. It is important to note that this service is primarily provided with Hennepin County, however as long as the individual’s county is willing to work with VOA to set up a contract, we will be able to provide the individual in their home county of residence.
