The Minnesota Chemical Dependency Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individuals is looking for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join its team. The person in this role will work directly with our deaf or hard of hearing clients who are participating in chemical dependency treatment. Responsibilities include client assessment and screening, treatment planning, therapeutic program implementation, client education, aftercare planning, referral services, clinical reports, and one-to-one and group counseling. This is a benefited position, 36 hours per week, Monday though Friday days with some cross-over shifts. The ideal candidate will hold current licensure as an LADC in the state of Minnesota, have experience in a chemical dependency treatment setting, and be fluent in American Sign Language as well as knowledgeable of Deaf culture; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
